Imagine blending Ann Summers into a gelateria, then freezing it into a Soho cocktail bar, and you will get something approaching the kitsch that is The Icecreamists ice cream parlour in Covent Garden. In an impressive PR move, the company whipped up a such a massive fuss about the ‘ Baby Gaga’ – an ice cream churned from human breast milk – that they ‘sold out’ by noon on opening day. The parlour has since been warned by health and safety officials from Westminster Council, who dramatically ‘seized’ the teat treat, before declaring it safe. So Baby Gaga is back on the menu with a clean bill of health, but if you’re still not tempted there are plenty of other ice creams in store to keep you satisfied from nipple to the bottle. But wear your finest: the dresscode is ‘Dress to chill’.
