In The Beginning
We were delighted when the talented Josie Rourke, currently Artistic Director of the Bush, was appointed to replace Michael Grandage at London’s classiest Off-West End theatre, the Donmar. Now she’s directing at Westminster Abbey: Bush writer Nick Payne has written a short piece, ‘In The Beginning’, as a tribute to the King James Bible (400 years old this year) and the Abbey itself. On March 24, a limited number of audience members are invited to follow actors round on a promenade which will take them beyond Poets’ Corner to areas of the Abbey which are usually out of bounds. Book now.

Each performance will last approximately 40 minutes. The first tour will leave at 6.30pm with last one leaving at 9.30pm. To book (tickets £25), call 020 8743 5050. For location info, see Westminster Abbey listing.
