The annual Cheese & Wine Festival is back, from tomorrow to Sunday. Sample pungent cheddars and quaff-quality wine, peruse French bubbly and purchase perfect bedfellows for charcuterie and bread. Talks and demos are led by some of London’s big, ahem, cheeses. Wine expert Fiona Beckett advises on how to match food and wine; Giancarlo and Katie Caldesi cook dishes with Italian cheeses; and La Fromagerie founder Patricia Michelson joins chef Henry Harris (Racine) for a tutored tasting followed by a cooking demonstration. Talk about a winning combination.
