Kate Boxer prints at The Modern Pantry at Meza

Posted at 1:00 pm, March 27, 2011 in Arts & Entertainment

There’s more to The Modern Pantry‘s takeover at Meza than Cornish crab rarebit, Earl Grey pannacotta and salted coconut tapioca. Around 20 prints by Brit artist Kate Boxer hang in the restaurant and are proving as popular with diners as Anna Hansen’s food. Boxer works in a shed on a farm in West Sussex where she lives with dogs Stevie and Fig, Jeremy the donkey, Loretta the cat, plus ducks and a chicken. Her limited edition plates are printed by two London-based masters, Francois Pont at St James’s Studios and Colin Gale at Artichoke Studios. All are for sale.
