St. John Hotel opens
What could be more civilised than eating and drinking yourself silly and then rolling upstairs to bed? The new St. John Hotel, opening tomorrow in Chinatown, offers just that. Brought to you by Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver (above), the masterminds behind the St. John restaurants, rooms are in keeping with the original eaterie decor: clean, simple and stylish. No detail has been overlooked – from the bar (offering just 3 cocktails) to the restaurant, serving breakfast, elevenses, lunch, a teatime ‘Little Bun Moment’ and supper ’til late. Forget ‘nose to tail’ eating, this is ‘table to bed dining’. No taxi required.
