© BFI SouthbankOscar-winning Italian director Bernardo Bertolucci enjoys a major retrospective at BFI Southbank throughout April and May. This Saturday, il maestro talks about his career on stage before a screening of his shimmering 1964 film, ‘Before the Revolution’. You can also sample his entire back catalogue on the big screen, from his brilliant, ‘Rashomon’-inspired debut, ‘The Grim Reaper’ (1962), to his story of sexed-up revolutionaries, ‘The Dreamers’ (2004), and everything between, including classics such as ‘The Last Emperor’ and ‘The Conformist’ (1970).
