Cheap Eats: Meza restaurant

Posted at 1:00 pm, April 9, 2011 in Food & Drink

The next big thing in south London? No not Meateasy (which sadly closes on April 16) but a little Lebanese grill near Tooting Bec tube station with only 5 tables. Meza has been packed every night since it opened, and has a warm welcome and a consistency of both good food and service that most supper clubs could learn from. The meze dishes are excellent and the bill agreeably low – you’re pushing it if you spend much over £40 for two. Cash only.

For info, see Meza listing.
