Tea and sherry tasting with Heston Blumenthal
Fancy a comedy cuppa? We enjoyed watching Stephen Colbert ruin a British tea on gawker.com. For a more refined tipple, see below:
As part of Southbank’s Festival of Britain celebrations, Heston Blumenthal and wine writer Jancis Robinson host an evening devoted to the pleasures of afternoon tea and sherry on 9 May (6-7:15pm). The audience will taste a variety of teas followed by those of sherry (24 kinds, to be precise); taster boxes with food samples made by Blumenthal from his Dinner menu will be offered on departure.
