Celebrate London’s independent record stores this Saturday at annual international Record Store Day. With special releases and events galore, our pick includes Mercury-nominated Wild Beasts (above) playing a set of their elegant and eccentric indietronica at Rough Trade East, joined by young neo-soul star Jamie Woon, Gaggle, Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Chilly Gonzales (plus face-painting, cake and giveaways); the don of quirky, long-lost soundtrack albums, Jonny Trunk, spinning some of his fave platters at Phonica; and oddball alt.popsters Pete And The Pirates plugging in their amps at Rough Trade Notting Hill.

For info, see our Record Store Day 2011 feature.
