Fashion and documentary photographer Iain McKell has spent the last 10 years living with, and documenting the lives of, groups of horse-drawn travellers and has just released a beautiful book (published by Prestel at £24.99) of photographs which give a unique insight in to this often invisible community. A selection of these images go on show at the Fashion Space Gallery tomorrow (to 4 June).

‘The New Gypsies’ exhibition at Fashion Space Gallery, London College of Fashion, 20 John Princes Street, W1G 0BJ. Iain will be giving a free lecture on the project at the National Portrait Gallery on 9 June; for info, see nationalportraitgallery.org.uk.
