We got royally chatty with performance artist Bryony Kimmings:

Are you looking forward to the royal wedding?
I am most excited to see what Kate wears. I really liked Diana’s dress – I hope it is as good as that.

What are you doing today?
The council estate I live on is having a party which should be a right old knees-up. I’m going to pop in to that – it should be lush.

What would your advice to Kate be for her wedding night?
Lie back and think of ruling England.

If you had been invited to the wedding, what would you have worn?
A hat by Piers Atkinson and maybe something tartan.

What will you be getting up to tonight?
I’ll be playing ‘Double Dare’ with Jess Latowicki at the No Shame party, asking people to dare us to do stuff. You have to be prepared to take a dare in return though….this is hardcore stuff!

Tell us a secret…
I am taking a 4 month sabbatical from being the Executive Director at Chisenhale Dance Space to write and perform a brand new show at the Edinburgh Festival.

Bryony Kimmings appears tonight as part of’ the No-Shame After Party at the Roundhouse.

Plan your day with our royal wedding information guide.
