‘Ben Wilson The Chewing Gum Man’ exhibition opens
They say you should look up when walking around London, but do so and you might miss Ben Wilson’s unique artistic endeavor – painting miniature scenes on discarded chewing gum. Today (to 8 May), Wilson’s work moves from the pavement to Julian Hartnoll Gallery. As well as canvases on show, there’s a gum trail displaying the work in its natural habitat. Wilson will also transform other litter into art next Saturday. We suspect this could be a trend worth trashing in on.
Julian Hartnoll, 37 Duke Street, SW1Y 6DF (020 7839 3842). For further info, see foroneweekonly.com.
