The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain plays at Cadogan Hall
You may have noticed that the ukulele is currently cool. Portable, pretty and easy to learn, sales of this humble instrument have rocketed over the last few years. Meanwhile, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain have been strumming away since 1985 – and going from strength to strength (they’ve even played the Royal Albert Hall). This Wednesday/Thursday they bring their unique interpretation of songs spanning the genres, from Nirvana to Tchaikovsky, to the Cadogan Hall: expect a foot-stomping, whistling, twanging night of fun.
For info, see Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain Orchestra listing.
Feeling inspired, pick up a ukulele of your own at the Duke of Uke.
