Red outdoor food market is a major new addition to Shoreditch nightlife. Open every Saturday (7pm-3am) and Sunday (noon-midnight), stalls offer genuinely interesting and exciting fayre. Some are London market regulars: Banh Mi 11 makes Vietnamese baguettes and pho (noodle soup); Spinach & Agusi serves up spicy Ghanaian stews; Sporeboys dish up mushroom risotto. Then there’s the ambitious Healthy Yummies van, which on our visit was grilling scallops with bacon and serving them with a glass of Prosecco. We also enjoyed a baguette stuffed with a herby, peppery French sausage braised in white wine; an Argentinian empanada; and a simple lemon sugar galette.
