Thousand Eyes Of Dr MabuseAnyone interested in the murkier corners of modern history and the ways art is turned into propaganda is urged to attend this weekend’s ‘Celluloid Curtain’ festival at Riverside Studios. Unearthing a treasure trove of obscure and fascinating spy movies made at the height of the Cold War on both sides of the Wall, it ranges from comic adventure movies like ‘High Season for Spies’ to the more serious ‘The Spy Who Came In From the Cold’ and ‘The 1000 Eyes of Dr Mabuse’ (above). Watch your back!
