The Paradise Guide to Life lectures
From The Idler to Diesel and Aubin & Wills, brands everywhere are jumping on the ‘cerebral fashion’ lecture bandwagon. Next up it’s restaurant Paradise by Way of Kensal Green with a series of free workshops in June. Classes are divided into stereotypical male/female activities including ‘Car mechanics by Queens Park Tyres’ and ‘Chivalry by The Chap magazine’ for boys and ‘Burlesque Dancing by Slinkey Sparkles’ for ladies – though sessions are open to both genders.
To register, call 020 8969 0098 or email bookings@theparadise.co.uk. For venue info, see Paradise by Way of Kensal Green listing.

While free classes is a very good thing, I find the division between ‘manskills’ and ‘ladyskills’ really insulting. Just compare what’s on offer between the two.. it’s not good.
