Hummingbird Bakery opens new branch in Spitalfields

City workers looking for a sugar fix can now pop into Frying Pan Alley for Hummingbird’s signature cupcakes and sweet treats. It’s the fourth branch for Tarek Malouf’s successful venture and its first out east. Find classic buttercream-iced cupcakes (red velvet, chocolate, vanilla, black bottom) alongside pies (pecan, apple, pumpkin), brownies and delightfully spongey whoopie pies.
