© I Killed My MotherThis week, ‘Heartbeats’ (below) by French-Canadian writer-director-actor Xavier Dolan hits screens, a New Wave-inspired love triangle drama which he produced at the tender age of 22. In anticipation of this, Kensington’s Ciné Lumière offers the chance to catch his brilliant oedipal comedy, ‘I Killed My Mother’ (above) (made at the age of 20!) at 6.15pm tonight. The director was supposed to jet in for a Q&A but the Icelandic ashcloud has put the kibosh on that. If you want our advice, make sure you catch this debut from a director who’s sure to be one of the big names in world cinema in the coming years.
