If you fancy some free alfresco theatre this summer, the More London Free Festival is just the ticket. Opening this Wednesday, it hosts fringe performances at 800-seater The Scoop amphitheatre by Tower Bridge including ‘Citiest of Cities’ by Palladini Productions, ‘Troy Boy’ by The Merry Opera Company, ‘The Canterbury Tales’ by The Pantaloons and ‘Tales from the Shed’ by Chickenshed. It continues with Music (Jun 29-Jul 22), Theatre (Aug 4-Sep 4) and Film (Sep 14-30). Booking is not necessary and if you are worried about getting a numb bum, cushions are available for hire.
