Giant gingerbread house in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital at The Brunswick shopping centre
From tomorrow to Sunday (11am-5pm), The Brunswick shopping centre in Bloomsbury shows a giant edible gingerbread house built by Alma-nac Collaborative Architecture in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital charity. In addition to marvelling at – and nibbling parts of – its chocolate furniture, popcorn-popping chimney and cupcake garden, hungry kids of all ages are invited to meet giant gingerbread men and listen as storytellers read classic fairy tales: entry is £2 per head, no booking required. For an extra £2, keen cheflets can attend Lily Vanilli’s gingerbread men masterclass. Expect queues as long as Rapunzel’s ponytail.
