© Time Out/Rob GreigThe latest addition to London’s food truck movement is Pitt Cue Co. which has just set up in a shady patch under Hungerford Bridge on Southbank to peddle good ol’ American barbecue. Vegetarians need not apply as it’s all meat here: grilled chicken, messy pork ribs and beef brisket; the flesh of your choice is paired with root beer beans or crunchy red cabbage and parsley coleslaw. Our hickory-smoked and slow-cooked pulled pork was the real deal – well-seasoned, tender, meaty strands that were moist without being mushy. Save the bread for mopping up the juices left at the end. There are also cocktails and beers. Pitt Cue Co. is here to stay for the next 4 months so give it a go while summer’s here.

For info, see Pitt Cue Co. listing.
