Plenty of musicians are full of hot air. So it makes sense that when Carter’s Steam Fair decided to use their restored carnival rides from the 1900s to raise money for the National Autistic Society, they called in music’s great and good to help out. On Eel Brook Common tomorrow (4-9.30pm), Jarvis Cocker (above) mans the dodgem DJ booth while Razorlight’s Johnny Borrell runs the ‘The Lightning Skid’ ride. They’re joined by Harry Hill on the coconut shy, Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish on the hook-a-duck and there’s a guest appearance from Circus Of Horrors (last seen on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’). This is one hot ticket to ride.
