It’s regularly cited as one of the great achievements in documentary cinema: this Saturday, there’s a chance to see Claude Lanzmann’s colossal (it’s 9½ hours long) paean to survivors of the Holocaust, ‘Shoah’, at Prince Charles Cinema as part of Open City Documentary Festival. Rest breaks are scheduled throughout the day and Lanzmann will even be on hand for a rare post-film Q&A.

For info, see Shoah listing; book tickets at princecharlescinema.com.
