Pride London launches London’s Pride Pooch 2011 gay dog show
Creating one of London’s hottest events on the canine calendar, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Pride London are searching for London’s Pride Pooch 2011, a dog show open to LGBT owners and their pets. Categories include Super Staffie, Best Rescue Dog, Looky-Likey (guaranteed to be a corker), Dandiest Dog and Prettiest Bitch (there may be no diva meltdowns but there might be problems with drool): owners must register their pride and joy online before 12 noon this Sunday for a £3 charitable fee; those shortlisted will be invited to strut their stuff at the grand finale on June 30 at Fire nightclub in Vauxhall. Doggy style just got a lot more entertaining. (N.B. Cat fights may ensue.)
For info, see London’s Pride Pooch listing.

What about LGBT pets and their straight owners?
