Celebrate American Independence Day in London

Posted at 3:00 pm, July 3, 2011 in Food & Drink

Independence-Day-Uncle-SamForget alien invasions and Will Smith, celebrating Independence Day requires one thing and one thing only: good ol’ fashioned American grub. From a hot dog eating competition at Blues Kitchen to a genuine Southern-style backyard barbeque – complete with Texas pulled pork, coleslaw, Brunswick stew and cornbread – hosted by the Gluttonous Glee Club, there are all-American portions aplenty. Follow these gastronomic delights with a trip to the Be Bop and American Hops real ale festival where you can wash it all down with US-inspired beers from British breweries.
