© The Broken HeartsKitsch DJ dream team The Broken Hearts (aka Amber Butchart and Nisha Thirkell, above) champion music from classic swing through to modern adaptations. Their latest project (they’ve created DJ sets for shows across Europe and US plus bespoke compilations for the likes of British Film Institute and British Fashion Council) is a radio show on Jazz FM called ‘Peppermint Candy’, which bears the motto ‘Swing is not just a dance, it’s a way of life’. The dynamic duo bring a party version of their show to The Cobden Club this Wednesday with cocktails, a 3-course meal and music. Those who book tickets early receive a gift from Tatty Devine and a ‘Peppermint Candy’ compilation.

For info, see Peppermint Candy listing; book at eventim.co.uk. ‘Peppermint Candy’ radio show airs Thursdays 6-7pm on Jazz FM. The Peppermint Candy compilation album is out on Universal on July 18.
