Bastille Day 'Liberty Leading the People' by DelacroixGallic expats and Francophiles should head to The Zetter on Thursday for French National Day celebrations including a game of boules in St John’s Square, a barbecue (noon-8.30pm) and a slow bicycle race (string-of-onions-round-neck optional). In the evening, chef Bruno Loubet serves a 4-course feast (from 6pm) at his in-house Bistrot Bruno Loubet with traditional French fare like frog’s legs, snails, moules marinière, crêpes suzette and plenty of fromage. Vive la France!
