Non-conformists invade East London for Whitecross Street Party
Not to be outdone by the recent Royal Wedding, East London’s Whitecross Street Party returns this Saturday and Sunday (noon-6pm) with its own special blend of urban art, eclectic music and buckets of non-conformity. Whitecross Street will be transformed into one giant outdoor gallery where performers vie for attention, showcasing the best in local performance art, sculpture and ‘Mad Max’-style post apocalyptic vehicles (courtesy of Wreckage). A great variety of global food stalls are on hand for the peckish.
