Trinity Buoy Wharf Arts Festival limbers up for London 2012 Olympic GamesWith 1 year to go until 2012 Olympic Games, Open Weekend 2011 begins this weekend giving Londoners the chance to get a taster of the kind of cultural spectacle they can look forward to next summer. Central to this is Trinity Buoy Wharf Arts Festival with music, exhibitions, workshops and tours all taking place in Docklands area this Saturday and Sunday (11am-6pm). Official 2012 mascots Wenlock and Mandeville may be put in appearance in the labyrinth ‘Container City’. Events are free and open to all ages, plus there is a free ferry across the Thames from the pier beside the O2 Arena making access easy for those south of the river.
