Tomorrow, Chiswick’s Soho House outpost High Road Brasserie turns 5 years-old; to celebrate, it launches a Great Birthday Menu with each course costing a mere £5 (to July 31). This summery anniversary selection features dishes like pea and mint soup, chicken palliard (where the meat has been pounded thin, then flash-fried) and lemon tart. If you’re in the mood for cocktails, go for a Whiskey Smash or a Dark ‘n’ Stormy – all cost a fiver.
