Open House London, Crossness Engines House, BexleyBooking opens on August 8 for this year’s Open House London which takes place on September 17-18. Most of the 700 venues – like The Crossness Pumping Station, Bexley (above) and City Hall, South Bank (below) – open over the weekend are free and visitors can turn up on the day, however, some hugely-popular places (BT Tower, London 2012 Olympic site) need booking – and quickly. Guides are available now (by post and online) and this year see a new Open House app (launched on August 8 and free for the first 2 weeks) to help sightseers get the most out of the weekend.
