Bowie lovers rejoice: this Saturday (4pm), fans of the ‘The Thin White Duke’ can take a free, guided walking trip around London to visit sites associated with the legend’s early life. Organised by ‘Feeling Gloomy’, the weekly club night devoted to playing sad music, the tour explores significant spots from Bowie’s birth in 1947 through to the end of the glam-rock in 1974. Post-walk, head to a dedicated Bowie Night at O2 Academy Islington (10.30pm) and pull some shapes. Cult film ‘Labyrinth’ plays out on screens throughout the night, so, guys and girls, feel free to dress as the great man himself.
