Wanted: dancers, actors, musicians to perform at London 2012 Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies

Posted at 2:30 pm, August 20, 2011 in News

Apply for the opening and closing ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympic GamesIf you are yet to get Olympics tickets, there are still plenty of ways to get a great view of the Olympic stadium and fewer more exciting than being cast in the opening or closing ceremony. The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) have begun a campaign to recruit adult volunteers for the showpiece events of London 2012. Successful applicants will take the roles of dancers, actors and percussionists performing in front of a worldwide TV audience of billions and will work under the guidance of Danny Boyle and Kim Gavin. Deadline is August 31, applicants must be over 18 and, to avoid any further ticket rage, it’s not a first-come, first-served process. When you’re ready….
