Sensory Lab coffee shop
New coffeehouse Sensory Lab is the second Melbourne-based brand to open in London – the first was St. Ali in Clerkenwell which is part of the same group. Eschewing the traditional bean hubs of Shoreditch and Soho, Sensory Lab has set up shop west of Oxford Circus – thrilling news for coffee heads in the area who don’t have much more to go to than Apostrophe at nearby St. Christopher’s Place. We like the window seats overlooking Wigmore Street, which allow for a bit of people watching while enjoying a brew. Currently, you can choose your beans from an esteemed list of roasters, from Square Mile to HasBean and St Ali. For more serious drinkers, or those who are curious and want to benefit from some chinwagging with the skilled baristas, there’s a dedicated brew bar and coffee menu with detailed descriptions.
