‘Jack Smith: A Feast for Open Eyes’ film season screens at the ICA
The ICA will play host to a cross-dressing underground porno spectacular as part of their forthcoming season, ‘Jack Smith: A Feast for Open Eyes’. Running from September 7-18, Smith remains one of the key-players of the ’60s New York avant garde scene, and his provocative films – including the long-banned counterculture classic, ‘Flaming Creatures’ – offer a riveting window on a period of wild and challenging experimentation. The season also offers a number of talks, workshops and events, but if you get the chance, do try and catch some of his mesmerising films.
