Top-notch bakery Gail’s holds its annual end-of-summer garden party this Saturday (9am-6pm) at Oriel Place adjacent to its Hampstead store. Aimed at supporting local butchers, fishmongers, greengrocers and cheesemongers, the party is open to the community and runs in conjunction with Gayton Festival on nearby Gayton Road. Food stalls are hosted by the likes of The Fresh Olive Company, Paxton & Whitfield , Scrimshaws Pork Pies, Lily’s Kitchen, New Forest Cider Co and Gail’s. Face-painters are on hand to entertain little ones and live music comes courtesy of Katy Carr , Sleepy Eye Slim , Tomorrow’s Warriors and more. Entry is free and open to all.
