secret sensory suppersDuring London Design Festival, on September 20-22, a series of Secret Sensory Suppers will be held in The Masonic Temple (below) at Andaz hotel on Liverpool Street. The event is curated by FranklinTill, a London-based trends consultancy, in association with Bompas & Parr (our favourite jellymongers), Caroline Hobkinson (writer of food blog Stirring With Knives) and Silent Studios, where food, sound, light and touch stimulate all the senses. Different chefs cook on different nights and there are novel extras like film screenings, ice sculptures, live music, masked waiters and interesting eating implements – or a lack of them. Tickets for the dinners go on sale today: book fast.

To book, see franklintill.com.
