Antoni & Alison open their doors for Open House London Weekend
To coincide with London Fashion Week, fashion designer duo Antoni & Alison (below) open their London townhouse to the public as part of the Open House London Weekend this Saturday (10am-5pm). The House Of Mr & Mrs Antoni & Alison is an 1820s mid-terrace house in Southwark; found derelict and covered in plastic flowers, its is now fully renovated and filled with quirky curios and objets d’art. Time Out recently visited the property and highly recommends a tour (as Antoni tells us, “I guess it is an office but it’s really our playhouse. My inspiration was the crooked house at Southend funfair. I wanted to make all 4 floors our creative den.”) In addition, the couple will preview their SS’12 fashion collection here during the weekend and are on hand to offer guided tours of the building. Entry is free: simply turn up and have a good nose around.
