Peckham Artist Moving Image festival opens
The PAMI (Peckham Artist Moving Image) initiative takes over Peckham this Thursday to Sunday (times vary) for a new festival celebrating local moving image artwork. Working with the Peckham Free Film Festival, the weekend playfully explores ways to present the medium to a wider audience. Works are shown on TV monitors as projected images – via internet broadcast – and are displayed at various venues including understated pop-up spaces, artist-run studios and grand commercial galleries.
