Minotaur resto-gallery pops up at The Old Vic Tunnels
To coincide with Frieze and London Restaurant Festival, from October 10 (to November 4) The Old Vic Tunnels will be converted into Minotaur, a labyrinth-style art gallery with one of the tunnels given over to a dining space to be run by Germany-based pop-up restaurateurs Pret a Diner. Pieces for the exhibition come courtesy of Lazarides Gallery, who are currently commissioning artists to create their own interpretation of the ancient classical myth, while cooking is done by acclaimed chefs includingNuno Mendes (Viajante, London), Matthias Schmidt (Villa Merton, Frankfurt), Juan Amador (Amador, Mannheim). A ticket for 3-course dinner costs £75, while entrance to just The Minotaur exhibition costs £5 (free to under 18s). Book now.
