Stumblin' SlimsWhether you’re a fan of TV chef Gizzi Erskine or are just hankering for a 50s night out, Stumblin’ Slims is just the ticket. Taking place at East London’s Village Underground on Saturday (8pm-2am), the rock ‘n’ roll night invites to you don that gingham and quoiff that quiff for a night of live music and jive. Several bands perform before Ms Erskine hits the decks. Drinks and light bites (punch, popcorn, candy floss) come courtesy of Camden jazz resto The Blues Kitchen, and wannabe Dannys and Sandys (or Mrs Mia Wallaces and Vincent Vegas) can enter the Stumblin’ Slims twist contest.

For info, see Stumblin’ Slims listing.
