Gob be with you at Get Mouthy evening
Fancy stepping inside your orifice? The Wellcome Collection continues its quest to educate with Get Mouthy tonight (7-11pm), an event dedicated to the humble gob. In between talks on echolocation (the neuroscience behind speech) and the mouth’s effect on the senses, participants can admire the talents of unusual vocal performances from the London Bulgarian choir or discover the history of dentistry. The evening is curated by investigative artist Alex Julyan who has control of the whole building, so expect intriguing installations and displays exploring every last nook and cranny of the glorious trap. The fully licensed café is open all night and entry is free. There’s clearly no badmouthing here.
