London Cocktail Week 2011 launches and everyone’s invited
London Cocktail Week launches on Friday October 7 (to October 16) and proffers plenty of cocktail-related revelry throughout the capital. All you need to do in order to participate is to sign up for a free wristband. More than 200 London bars (some feature in our round-up of London’s best cocktail bars) taking part will shake up bespoke cocktails, keenly priced at just £4 for the occasion; there’ll even be a dedicated booze bus (a classic red Routemaster) to shuttle you between venues. Other events during the week include masterclasses, tutored tastings, film screenings, lunches, dinners and of course, cocktail parties.
