‘Technicolour Hymns’ pays tribute to London’s alternative ladies
Photographer Holly Falconer has been snapping alternative ladies over the last 2 years, documenting different scenes in projects including ‘London Girls’, ‘Duets’ and ‘Asexuality’. Her efforts are now being shown together in her first solo exhibition at XOYO (to October 31). Inspired by club photography from nights like Boombox and Pony Step and playing with the idea of myth, Falconer has captured a colourful, raw confidence that shines out of all her portraits.
