Time Out HQ have compiled a list of 101 ultimate things to do in London and every week we pick one as inspiration for your weekend fun. Need to relax after a stressful week? Potter over to Chelsea Physic Garden for a chilled out afternoon before the weather totally freezes over. Boasting the worlds oldest rock garden, made from fused bricks and flint, stones from the Tower of London and Icelandic lava shipped up the Thames in 1772. It also has a rather lovely shop offering a range of unusual plants to take home and a café serving homemade cakes. Britain’s first garden of ethnobotany (the study of the botany of different ethnic groups and indigenous peoples) also resides here. But hurry, the gardens close for winter this year on October 30.
