It’s all quite frightful at the Barbican Centre with Jonathan Rigby and Mark Gatiss

Daughters of Darkness at the Barbican CentreJoin author Jonathan Rigby, whose book ‘Studies in Terror’ is published this week, as he chats with ‘League of Gentlemen’ alumnus, ‘Sherlock’ creator and all-round movie buff Mark Gatiss about their mutual love of all things gory and graphic on Tuesday October 11 (7pm). Earlier this year, we caught Gatiss in action at one of Time Out’s own special screenings; his knowledge of – and passion for – the subject of horror cinema is truly breathtaking: be sure to take a pen along so you can jot down all the wild and wonderful obscurities he’s sure to enthuse about. After that (8.45pm), there’s a screening of one of the all-time, great Euro-arthouse-softcore-lesbian-vampire classics, ‘Daughters of Darkness’ (above/below).
