Go cocoa nuts at Chocolate Unwrapped

Posted at 5:30 pm, October 10, 2011 in Food & Drink

We usually don’t need an excuse to indulge in chocolate, but since there’s an official 2-day event to celebrate Chocolate Week (today to October 16) it would be churlish to abstain. The highlight of the week is Chocolate Unwrapped, a 2-day event (October 15-16) with more chocolate surprises than a box of Celebrations. Demos, talks and tastings by top chocolatiers such as Paul A Young and William Curley broaden your cocoa knowledge, and you’ll be able to – of course – buy all the chocolate you want from both local and international chocolate purveyors. Serious bakers should consider entering their best chocolate cakes into the Great British Cake-Off, while chocolate-loving art fiends might appreciate the exhibition of chocolate art, which includes a 3-foot doll house.
