R.E.M. announced that they were calling it a day on September 21, but rather than mope about it, Bloody Awful Poetry gathered a tribute band and organised R.E.M.EMBER, an evening of live covers of R.E.M.’s greatest hits, followed by DJ sets full of 90s grunge and pop tracks. On Tuesday 11 October (7pm-midnight) come party at The Monarch in Camden dressed as your favourite R.E.M. song, sip Orange Crush cocktails and hunt for Lost Religious articles to win free drinks. And remember, Everybody Hurts sometimes.
