Crumbs! London’s looking pretty sweet for National Baking Week
Travelling on the underground in London can be anything but sweet, but to launch National Baking Week (October 17-23), London’s tube map has been transformed into baked bohemia. Victoria Sponge, Imperial Mint Wharf Cake, Wimbledon Parkin, Add 250ml Waterloo, Charing Hot Cross Bun, Puddington and Swiss Roll Cottage sit alongside the city’s landmarks, all lovingly recreated in edible form. Sadly, you can’t take a bite but head down to St Pancras International Station to see the city looking at its most delicious.
For info, see nationalbakingweek.co.uk. We love nothing more than a London cake pun. Got any good ones? Tweet us at @TimeOutLondon.
