Think you know your prosciutto from your bresaola? Whether you’re a novice or an expert, if you’re a fan of dried and cured meats you shouldn’t miss this three-day event on the South Bank (28-30 October) based around all forms of charcuterie. As well as notable offerings from the Continent, we should be seeing products from around the UK too. A range of demonstrations covers everything from sausage-making (salumi, chorizo) to tastings of French pâtés, British cured meats and black puddings. There will be stalls selling charcuterie’s perfect bedfellows, too: bread, wines and more besides.
